A Message from Heather... Juggling Work, Home & Exercise
Ever since opening Vie I have heard clients talk about the challenge of fitting in their workouts between jobs, kids and home life. Now I finally understand! The past couple of months with Oscar have been amazing, but it's definitely a challenge to juggle everything. Gone are the leisurely lunches with friends - instead it's running from Vie back home at lunchtime to feed the baby! Carsten and I are working together to keep all the balls in the air, and so far so good. Making
exercise a priority is the only way to be consistent. At Vie, we try
to make it as easy as possible to stay on top of your workout
schedule. Standing appointments each week help to make your workout as
important as a meeting. Your trainer can create a
cardio-strength-flexibility calander so your exercise stays
well-balanced. The laundry service we offer assures you'll never forget
your clothes. We can have a juice or smoothie ready for you after your
workout, and we'll even feed your meter if you're running overtime.
Planning
ahead, making an appointment and sticking to it will help us all reach
our fitness goals and still leave time to devote to careers and family.
Take Advantange of Our Cardio Equipment If you are looking to lose a few extra pounds and increase your aerobic capacity, remember to take advantage of our cardio equipment between your personal training appointments. Clients who train at least once a week with a trainer are welcome to come in anytime for a cardio work out. Get
out of the cold and mix it up with the elliptical trainer, treadmill,
recumbent bike, and for a new challenge, our stair climber. Please be
aware that clients who are scheduled for their training session have
first priority on the cardio equipment. Our less busy times are
between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and on the weekends, but stop in at your
convenience - there is usually something available. We look forward to
seeing you!
15% Off New Vie Hoodies! Arrive
to your workout in style with our new Vie hoodies. We have two
different kinds - a thick, warm zip-up to keep you toasty, or our light
cotton half zip-up hoodie. Both look great enough to take you from the
gym to running errands around town. Our thick hoodies come in white
and are $29.75, and our light-weight hoodies, available in black or
white, are $21.50. This is 15% off the regular price for February.

Raw Juice of the Month: Orange Wave A healthy blend of fresh carrot and orange juice combine together to make our Orange Wave. Fresh juice is loaded with minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, proteins and much more. Try Our Favorite Protein Bar: Daryl Bars
There
is a reason why we carry Daryl Bars as our only protein bar - they are
fresh, healthy, nutritious and simply delicious. Natural, wholesome
ingredients like oats, peanut butter, cranberries and whey protein make
up these bars. You can even get them with a thin layer of dark
chocolate on top for a treat. Daryl bars are low in sugar and fat and
high in protein. Ask for a free sample at the front desk - we are
positive you will love these bars!
Recipe of the Month: Healthy Stuffed Red Peppers These peppers are vegetarian, but the brown rice and black beans provide fiber and protein. If you want to add meat, you can substitute cooked, lean ground turkey for some of the rice. 4 red bell peppers
